Lower Micklin has been providing quality self catering accommodation since 2001. It is our aim to ensure that all our guests are pleasantly surprised with their accommodation when they arrive and look back on an enjoyable stay when they leave. We believe that the best way to achieve this goal is to honestly describe what we offer, there are no misleading statements on this website; When we say that we are 2 miles from Alton Towers, we mean that we are two miles from Alton Towers. From our gate, to their gate. Along the road, not as the crow flies. The views shown on our website are the views from our cottages, not from somewhere a mile or two down the road. We do not describe our cottages as “luxury”, we have no saunas, spa-baths, swimming pools or other “luxury” facilities (but then again, how many “luxury” accommodation providers do?) What we do provide is good quality, clean and comfortable accommodation which we would be happy to stay in ourselves. Lower Micklin is owned and managed by Tracey Budd. As well as providing holiday accommodation, Lower Micklin is a family home and consequently we treat the whole site in the same manner, cleaning and maintaining it in exactly the same way as we do our own home. We will be very happy to welcome you to Lower Micklin and we are sure that you will enjoy staying here as much as we enjoy living here. |
